If someone needs a blood transfusion, you don't take blood from the guy who's been shot and is LOSING BLOOD. It's quite possible that HE would need a transfusion himself.
But this fails even more when you take into account that AB blood, while the least common type, is the UNIVERSAL RECIPIENT. Anybody in the freaking room could have donated.
I know it was done for the Rule of Funny, but jeebus. It's the second time I've seen the AB fail this WEEK. There must be a trope for this.
