Hail the conquering hero myth

st_jane_ambulanceI'm plotting from the Hero's Journey now. Should give the story some kind of structure to follow, and if I find a tangent that seems cool while writing, I'll follow it and maybe have a nifty subplot.
This story really does need much more background. Oh well, rewrites!
