The mission is go!

Today I found the solution to my writer's block: take my work someplace else. I've practically been living in my room since December and what I really needed was a change of surroundings. So at about two this afternoon, when I hadn't written a word, I took my clipboard and pen and moved up to the loft. There's an old armchair up there that's pretty roomy. It was just what I needed. I started writing the outline I've been trying to do for days. I made a change that I love. This morning I was almost banging my head on my desk and this evening I have a page and a half of outline (and more, if I get my ass back to work on it). I can't believe how much being in a different room can help me think. I love my room, but right now I hate the sight of it.
