all the pretty people died

So I found out Brian moved to Idaho!! What the fuck is up with that??! I don't like it when my friends move and they don't tell me. But apparently I forgot to mention I was going to UO, so I guess it almost evens out.

Last night I finally gave in to my curiosity and bought the Stargate summer season finales from iTunes. Half-hour downloads each on DSL (which is not bad for how big they were), decent picture and sound quality at fullscreen. Not DVD level, but definitely watchable. And OMFG. I wasn't disappointed. I can't believe I waited that long. I long for March. I liked where Atlantis left off, before all the action started. SG-1, however, pissed me off a little. I do not appreciate the "to be continuted" showing up right when everyone's about to be incinerated by a dragon. Yes, a bloody goddamn dragon. And then it ended. I've been slooowly making my way through Season 9 (I've watched seven episodes in five days). After that I might watch some old ones. I'm sort of craving it right now. I also tried to download the CSI episodes I missed today but I was in the basement and the wifi here isn't as good as it was at home.

Speaking of home, I have to get my bus ticket sometime before Friday afternoon. I'm goin' home to see my cat.
