Sanctuary!

Well, my experience with a roommate lasted a whopping six weeks. I HAVE MY OWN ROOM!!! 

Things I don't like about my new room:
the size (it's tiny)
less storage space than the doubles

Things I like about my new room:
it's a SINGLE!
overlooks the courtyard
quiet
prettier carpet
room for a tv
ethernet cable reaches the wall mount from the bed
temperature is chilly, just the way I like it when I sleep
adjoining private toilet/shower with neighbor Natsuko!!! but I'll probably still use the bathtubs in the shower rooms a lot

Apparently nobody's trying to get into Riley because according the the paperwork I was put on the waiting list TODAY. I sort of expected it to take a couple of weeks. I'm not on the third floor, which is a shame because all my friends are up there, but damn, I have my own room with a shower. And that would have made the move a bit harder. The walls definitely need more posters. I would go to bed now and finally get the amount of sleep I need, but I'm a bit too excited.

I also got paid today, but couldn't deposit my paycheck because my debit card expired. Now I have to wait for my parents to send me my new one. I guess that ninety bucks could sit in my desk drawer for a few days. It's a good thing I have an overabuncance of meal points and don't need money for food.

Finally, I get to sleep more than six hours a night.
