OMG

It took two hours for us to move all our stuff in on Thursday, and then we bought curtains and had lunch at Chili's. Friday we bought DSL cords, textbooks, and later an attack cat sign at the absolute zoo that was Freebies at Freddies. Saturday I superglued myself when trying to fix a used book, and then found out I wasn't supposed to use the stuff on paper anyway. Jessica and I helped two people move in, met a few people in our hall, one of which is also a Medieval studies major (woot!!), and have not yet had the opportunity to play Apples to Apples.

Hilary from last year has a car now, and willing to drive us around so we don't have to take the bus.
Kersten at the end is from Alaska.
Kaleo is from Hawaii.
Emma is apparently Jewish, because her dad refused to move her to school on Friday because he didn't want to drive when fasting.

Our room was built as a triple and fucking ROCKS.

Classes started yesterday, but I don't remember much because the first one was at 8:30 and I didn't finish class/work related stuff until 5. I have the Germant teacher from last year who's awesome (and a little hot), plus some other familiar faces from first year. Work is about the same, except I have to make sure the new people know what they're doing. I haven't been unfortunate enough to have to actually train anybody or work at the desk yet. And I have to read Beowulf by tomorrow.

I can't wait until Thursday, when I have no class and can catch up on all the homework I'm sure to be behind on.
