I've never found Dracula 2000 to be very memorable. Hell, the only thing I remember about it was that Gerard Butler was Dracula. I probably would never have bothered with the sequels, but I'm kind of a Jason London fan (and Jeremy too; life's better with twins) and I was a bit bored. Jason Scott Lee is all right, too, not really my type, but an interesting choice for a vampire hunter. Of course, the last thing I saw him in he was a reincarnated Egyptian princess. So there you go.
The first one was okay enough, with generous amounts of Jason London getting tossed around and becoming Vampire Savvy to the point at which I thought, "He should hook up with Mowgli and hunt some undead". Which is why the second one is the money flick. It's exactly what he did. The Jasons hooked up to become the modern Van Helsing and Carl in the second sequel. You'd be hard pressed to find a pair of nummier and more slashable vampire-hunting Jasons. Rawr. I could only be happier if he received a series of head wounds and got manhandled by Rutger Hauer before having to kill his vamp girlfriend and become last man standing.
Oh wait, he did that too.
:)
