I'm not dead yet

I talked to my Mom this afternoon and they support my need to change rooms. When they generated the Mom stereotype, they used mine as the mold. She always makes me feel better. At dinner I picked up the room change request form. When I asked my roommate for her signature, she was very nice and understanding. Either that or she's happy to be rid of me. Either way doesn't make much difference to me. I still need the complex director to sign before I turn the form in and make it on the waiting list, but I should have my own room before too long (I hope). I'll just have to suffer through my sleep deprivation for a little while longer. 

Last night was horror movie night in Riley. Sort of. We saw Shaun of the Dead, and then the entire Evil Dead series, which I haven't watched all together like that since I first saw them. We were all shouting at the movies, and it was so much fun. I like my nerd friends. I feel so much more comfortable around people who are weird. The guys I watch Lost with are not so weird, and I'm much more reserved with them. They're all right, and sometimes I eat with them, but they're not the kind of folks I really fit in with.

We must initiate Jessica into the ways of Harry Potter. If she's the kind of person I think she is, she'll like them. She just hasn't been properly exposed.
